The Trophée La Dombes, Terre de Golf in Mionnay

124 golfers took part in the second ever Trophée La Dombes. The event, held on the 2nd June at Mionnay Golf Club, was a great success!

The Trophée de la Dombes 2018

The first Trophée de la Dombes took place on 9th June 2018 at La Bresse Golf Course and was played in the fourball format.

The winners were:

  • Net total, first place, Come Bonnet and Lola Devantay
  • Gross total, first place, Sandy Criquelion and Nadia Claudel

That evening, golf met with gastronomy as an array of typical produce from the Dombes and La Bresse was provided. A gourmet cooking demonstration on La Bresse Golf Club's terrace tickled the taste buds with:

  • The famous Bresse chicken (AOC), courtesy of the Comité Interprofessionnel des Volailles de Bresse. Ghislaine and Eric Deroche, two local chicken farmers were in attendance.
  • Fish from the Dombes, courtesy of the Association Poisson des Etangs Dombes.
  • Frogs’ legs - a speciality of La Bresse Golf Course.
  • Goats’ cheese made by Chez Pinpin, a cheese producer in Neuville-les-Dames.
  • These delicacies were accompanied by Bugey AOC wine tasting with wine producer Eric Angelot.
