An ancient town of weavers, dating from the 15th and 16th centuries

Listed as a "Plus Beaux Villages de France", or one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages, the medieval town of Pérouges was built around the weaving industry. Its architecture is typical of the Middle Ages and boasts buildings dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, cobbled streets and a fortified church.
