500,000 pilgrims and tourists visit the village of Saint Curé d'Ars every year.

A small village in the Dombes with around 1,300 inhabitants, Ars-sur-Formans welcomes up to 500,000 pilgrims and tourists every year. The village is world-famous as home to the Curé d’Ars. Sites to see include the Ars Basilica and the Saint Curé d’Ars museum which retraces the life of Saint Jean-Marie Vianney (1789-1859).
